- In 1930 at Duke University, Dr. Joseph Rhine began the study of Extra-sensory
- Perception (ESP). These studies were and still are highly controversial.
-
- ESP studies often use a special deck of 'Zener Cards'. Each deck contains 25
- cards. Each card can have one of five patterns on it (circle, square, cross,
- star, or several wavy lines). The subject, often separated from the examiner, is
- asked what shape will be on the next card to be turned over.
-
- In this stack, you will be asked to determine which shape will appear next.
- Choose one of the five cards by clicking on the card. After guessing the
- computer will inform you if you were right or wrong.
-
- The odds of getting one right are 99.622%, getting six is 38.331% and getting 13
- is 0.036%. Getting nine or more is considered significant.
-
- Two extended tests of 50 and 100 cards each is also included for better accuracy
- and measure of your ESP. (or luck, as some would have it).
